How Telemark Ride & Stay works
Telemark Ride & Stay is designed for motorcyclists who want to experience Norway without having to organize transport, accommodation and logistics themselves. Here is how the experience works from start to finish:
1. Choose a date and reserve your spot
We offer a limited number of weeks during the season. Choose the week that suits you best and reserve your spot (and, if applicable, for your travel companions).
2. Book your flight to Oslo Airport (OSL)
You only need to book the flight. We’ll take care of the rest.
3. We meet you at the airport
Upon arrival, the motorcycles will be ready at Oslo Airport. You don’t need to pick up equipment elsewhere – everything is ready when you land.
4. We transport your luggage for you
Any larger luggage will be transported by us to the campsite at First Camp Norsjø.
You only ride with what you want on the motorcycle.
5. Ride Telemark’s roads at a relaxed pace towards the campsite
The route from Gardermoen to Norsjø is simple and scenic. You will receive a map and suggested route, with the option of several stops along the way.
6. Stay in a cabin by the water
You stay at First Camp Norsjø, which serves as your base for the entire week.
Here you will find:
- Private kitchen
- Bathroom
- Terrace
- Swimming area and nature right outside your door
The cabin serves as a “base camp,” so you don’t have to pack up and move every day.
7. Day trips through Telemark
Each day, you can choose between recommended route suggestions:
- Mountain passes
- Winding forest roads
- Scenic viewpoints
- Coffee stops and local experiences
You decide how your days will look – no fixed riding schedules.
8. Return journey
When the week is over, you ride back to Oslo Airport, return the motorcycle and collect your luggage. From there, it’s straight to your flight home – stress-free.
